richard3009 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I have imported a jpeg image into Autocad 2008 LT, I wish to draw some black circles on top of (over it) it , I have tried this by drawing a circle which works fine, when I try to solid hatch the circle, this does not seem to work, ie the hatch does not show over the jpeg. any ideas. rkmcswain Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 ...I wish to draw some black circles on top of (over it) it...... any ideas. Have you tried using the ._DONUT command? Specify an inner diameter of 0.0. Quote
BIGAL Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Check your draw order hatch may be behing image bring to front Quote
RFRUSSO Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I find that some times a solid hatch has a hard time with large or complex areas. Try using a different hatch at a large scale and then once the hatch pattern has been created, change it to the solid hatch. Quote
Tankman Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Check your draw order hatch may be behind image bring to front. Draw order does need to be in front. Works every time for me. Quote
Car5858 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You can also turn off Layer 0. The jpeg should turn off also. Then try what everyone else is suggesting. When you are ready turn layer 0 on again and do the next operation. Helps cut down on the confusion for me. Quote
