BrianJ Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 How can a file in Autocad get this big? We built the baseplan with a simple 2MB drawing. After adding on with Profiles and everything else associated with the project, it has grown to be 300 MB with well over a million objects. Other jobs that we have that are similar in size are only around 30 MB. Is there anything we can do to get this file smaller? We've tried everything including deleting all the layer filters. Quote
BrianJ Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 Yeah we've tried purging the drawing, audited, recovered, Used the flatten command to take all the 3D objects to 2D. We've completely run out of ideas Quote
ReMark Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Purged all regapps? Cleaned out the scalelist? Tried the WBlock trick? Quote
