AlexB Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I'm not totally sure what you're asking here. Are your dimensions wrong, or is the text the wrong size? If it is a text issue, bring up the properties window on the dimension you want to change by double clicking on the dimension, and change the text height. This will only change the dimensions that are selected. If you want to change all of the dimension text heights at the same time, go to dimension--> dimension style-->modify. As for putting stuff in layout and scaling, there's probably a more elegant way of doing this but I just got rid of the previous viewport, went to view--> viewports--> new viewports and selected one with three. Then I double clicked inside each of those to zoom in on one of the components in each. Hope that helps. Quote
casualmasters Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 in this drawing i have three views of a quay wall i want to plot in a A1 paper but i can`t adjust the scale of the drawing (which i want it to be 1:50 or 1:100) and the dimension scale Quote
RFRUSSO Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Activate the view port and then type at the command line z (for zoom) hit enter, then type 1/50xp or 1/100xp and enter. that will set the zoom factor, or scale that you are looking for. Quote
ReMark Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You can also make use of the Viewports toolbar in AC 2007. There's a small box on the right side that indicates the available scales when one clicks on the viewport. Comes in handy and you don't have to remember the viewport scale factors. Just another option. Quote
SPARKY77 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Just wondering what units you are using? For the drawing you posted I had to use a scale of 10:1 on A1 for the top two views & 4:1 for the other view Quote
