Tool Palettes and Auto Hide

Is there a way to adjust the amount of time you need to keep your cursor over a Tool Palettes in a Auto Hide mode to make it visible. In addition, on the other side of things, can you adjust the amount of time the Tool Palettes in a Auto Hide mode will stay open with out the cursor being on top of it.

This may help. I may try it as well. Seems the autohide always closes at the wrong time...

I spoke too soon. I can edit this file as shown in the above link and get 2009 to delay oopening the palette. However the same change does not appear to work for 2010. Anybody have any suggestions?

I called our reseller and asked about this for 2010, they sent it on to Autodesk, and eventually they updated the link that was posted above (which no loger works) to a new link: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=12004830&linkID=9240617 that applies to 2010 as well.

 

I have made the changes and it works fine. I will say that you should make sure to make the changes with Autocad closed, save them and then re-open Autocad.
