BillB Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Hello Folks, I am trying to do a clean uninstall and then a clean install of Inventor 2009 Pro. I also did a uninstall of Mocrosoft SQL. Now the problem is that I can't seem to get Inventor to install the ADMS and Content Center Libraries at all,,, it just hangs up. Does Inventor install the SQL or was that a seperate install that was originally on my machine. And does anyone have any suggetions on resolving these issues. By the way, I am loading inventor as single user on a standalone system. Appreciate any help, thanks in advance BillB Quote
Darin.Green Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Use the following to do a clean install of Inventor 2009. First, uninstall Inventor, ADMS, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 via Add/Remove Programs. After uninstalling these applications, Locate and delete the following folders: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2009 C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2009 After deleting these folders, locate and delete the following Registry Keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Inventor HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor Restart your computer and install Inventor 2009.
