marlon Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 If I draw a clear glass bottle, can I make it appear transparent using RENDER? I'm using autocad 2002. Quote
Tiger Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 To elaborate a bit, not that I'm a star at 3D - what I would do is apply a material that is transparent. In all 3D-rendering-programs that I have come in contact with there is a transparant material included (probably called Glass) that you can use. Quote
nialb Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 This is a glass rendered vase I drew a little while ago when I first started drawing in 3D. I haven't played around with lighting, the drawing is rendered just using the AutoCAD render tools. Quote
D-Zyne Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Your materials library should offer some sort of customizing options as well; I seem to recall 'transparency' being one of them. Quote
nialb Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I just used 'Glass' as the material. As far as I recall 'transparency' controls whether or not you can see objects underneith a raster image with on or off being the options. Quote
