gsksun4 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 In 2009LT when I try to save down to a previous version of cad, it tells me the drawing contains custom objects not supported in earlier versions. I guess AEC objects. Would I download object enablers for the 2009LT version, or for the lower version. And where would I download them to, support folder? Sometimes I save all the way down to Release 14 and I don't know if they even have enablers for 14. I've had this before and downloaded enablers in 2002LT for Architectural Desktop and Building Desktop, and that worked fine. These are floorplans I work with sent from A&E's. Also, I have DWG TrueView which I have used to save down and that worked fine also, but it's more work. I only used it because I couldn't open files newer than 2006LT at that time. Quote

Then there's Proxy graphics which I know nothing about. The only reason I save down is because the fellow who I replaced wrote some lisp routines for blocks I use and they only work in an old Release 14 I still have. Just makes the job easier and faster for me. Quote
Cad64 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 You might want to post those lisp routines in our lisp forum so our "Lisp Master" Lee Mac can have a look at them. If anyone can update them to current standards, he can. Quote

If anyone can update them to current standards, he can. I found the lisp file and it's on my desk top. Only trouble is, I already started a thread on this on the lisp forum and now when I do edit, I see no way of attaching the file in the original post. Can you help here? Quote
Cad64 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 After clicking Edit, scroll down and click the button that says "Go Advanced". Then scroll down and click the "Manage Attachments" button. Then you should be able to attach your lisp file. Quote

And they probably set you back quite a bit, so it looks like a no go. Not the end of the world, but it would have been sweet. Thanks again Cad64. Glenn USA Quote
Cad64 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Oops, I wasn't paying attention. You're using LT. Oh well, sorry to have got your hopes up. Quote
