Butch Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Os it possible to somehow transform one line shape into another like in the picture attached. It would be like an offset command that will specify offset distance and gradualy will transform the beging shape to the end shape. Can autocad do this? Quote
Ryder76 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Are you talking about like creating a fade from one shape to another? I have done it in Corel but not Acad. Maybe can be done with a lisp. Quote
ReMark Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I think the term would be "morphing". A long time ago there was a LISP routine that could do this. It was rather rough from what I can remember. Unfortunately I do not recall what the lisp routine was named. I tried looking for morph.lsp but that came back with a routine involving contour lines. Quote
Ryder76 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Doh - that's it "morphing". Maybe Lee Mac has a lisp. Quote
Butch Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Yeah, morphing would be more appropriate Quote
