Have you read the help files on "Use AutoLISP Application" ? It is very informative. What do you already know about LISP routines?

you've done some great LISP files. very good at what you do for the forum..well done.

its a great help for someone like me with not so much experience.

just curious if it is possible to do a LISP similar to the Attribute one, except its not attributes for example just text and objects?

Thanks Steven, I'm still learning a lot myself :)

Yes, this is possible - certainly very easy to manipulate for blocks and Text Objects, but maybe not so easy for other objects, as I would need to add a base-point prompt, and add a lot more coding. But leave it with me, and I'll see if I get some time :P

Thanks guys (and girls), your compliments are appreciated :)

I learn a great deal when making the LISP routines, so if it can benefit you lot in the process, then its a win win situation.

I would love to do it as a job, and actually get paid to write programs; but being a LISP programmer is such a specialist job that positions are incredibly difficult to come by... As it is, I have just finished my first year at uni, and, now that I am home for the next 3 months, I'm desperately searching for a job - but with the current economic climate in the UK, every company says they are not recruiting any time soon... :(

But thanks for your kind words,

Lee

Good luck with your job search. It seems to be tough everywhere these days.

Maybe a bartending job or exotic dancing - heard the pay is good.:lol:

Steve,

I had a little time, so I tried to engineer the Attribute Modification Suite to work with Text Objects also, I wasn't sure whether to filter the selection to only those text objects with the same string, (like the attributes with the same tag), so I didn't, let me know of any bugs etc

Lee, sorry to be a pest but this only seems to rotate all text in the drawing. still is very useful though. great LISP :D

Yeah, as I mentioned, I wasn't sure whether to filter it for the textstring or not, but if you want, I can.
