Dynamic Blocks (stretch action) help

Hi,

Using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008

 

I have a block I’m trying to create,

We use it in our viewports when we have multiple viewports/pages

 

What I'm trying to do is, using a stretch action to stretch a line (which would be use to adjust the length of the line depending on the size of the viewport)

 

I have gotten the rotate action to work for my block,

and a move action to move the "Joins rds XXXXXX" when I click the stretch action to stretch it, the problem I’m getting is the line doesn’t stretch it just moves with the joins rds, I haven’t selected that in the move option, I've tried putting it with a stretch action by itself but can't get it to do it,

I followed this tutorial

i did also search but couldn't find out what i was doing wrong,

 

If you look at example.JPG you can get a rough idea on what I’m trying to accomplish

 

Also 2nd question is there a way to have attributed text, when you enter it in the "properties tag" or through "Enhanced Attribute Editor"

Modify two attributed texts

i.e.

 

You can see in example.jpg I’ve created two tags called "A" and"A2" is it possibly to have those equal each other, so I only have to modify 1 of the tags for one of them and the other changes to that also

 

sorry about the quality of the pics, I had to also zip my dwg as its over the 250kb limit,

 

If someone can point me in the right direction or tell me what I've done wrong that would be greatly appreciated

Hi regarding the first question there is no stretch window what you need to do is to double click the stretch action and add in a window when prompted. Sorry but I don't use attributes so can't comment on the second part.

My problem is also related with u.

I have two lines which are vertically inline.I want to array bottom line vertically that time second upper line should be move with no. of arrays.

 

Can anyone guide me?
