Hello all-

New guy with his first post. I recently got some work to modify some files for a guy. A lot of the parts are tubes for an engine cage of some sort. I am having problems figuring out how they were drawn and how to modify them. Here's a couple screens of one part:

I am supposed to shorten it by .3". In the model it looks like he extruded it into a work plant instead of chopping the end off with a subtraction/cut. Also, I am having trouble figuring out how the work planes are rotated on the circular cut at the other end. There is "reference" geometry on an angled work plane. I used Inventor a few years ago but all that has been pushed out of my brain with useless song lyrics and other garbage...

I am using Inventor 2010...

Thanks for any help

Jess

So you equate knowledge of the use if Inventor with useless garbage? Good luck.
