When using 'Block' command, where are they actually saved in my computer?

 

Please help.

Blocks are saved with the drawing they are created in. If you need a block that was saved within another drawing use the Design Center to locate it then drag and drop a copy into the drawing you're working on.

 

In the future you may wish to consider using the WBlock command thus writing the block as a dwg file to your hard drive. Using the Browse button you can store the block anywhere you wish. Then use the Insert command to place the block into your drawing.

Saved in drawing until purged - be careful, as you may not realise how many block definitions are you creating within the drawing and the drawing may open s l o w l y...
