ReMark Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 So this quirky behavior exhibits itself only in AutoCAD and not in Word for instance? Quote
ReMark Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Were you messing around with the DDSTYLE command? Quote
puckineh70 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 its only in autocad as i type right now /'{} i have no issues my way around it has been to use other programs and copy the text i need Quote
ReMark Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Did you maybe press the left Alt key (left side of spacebar) and the SHIFT key at the same time? Quote
puckineh70 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 DDSTYLE hasn't been touched at all. all my drawings come from an existing template Quote
puckineh70 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 any combination of keys could have been pressed i often type faster than i think Quote
puckineh70 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Stylus BT its been our standard for 5 years now Quote
puckineh70 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 there isnt anything wrong with the text itself in the drawing. except the fact that its the wrong text. ill have to leave it for the day as i have field word to go to well see how things are tomorrow ... thanks for the help Quote
ReMark Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 So far I've been unable to duplicate the problem (using 2009). Try closing out both instances of AutoCAD (why are you running two individual sessions anyway?) and then open them up again. Problem still there? Two different drawings. What is the source of each?
