ReMark Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Some of the text might be blocks or attributes? Quote
Ryder76 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 It should if every text item was let's say "standard" and your "standard" was set to Romans and you change your "standard" to be arial. You may need to check every text item to make sure they are all the same textstyle. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 i changed every text style in the drawing to the font i want and half the lettering with in the drawing is still wrong, when i click on the lettering that is wrong and open the properties manager, it says the correct font name, but its not the correct font what is a text attribute? ReMark Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Your AutoCAD glossary defines an attribute definition as: "An object that is included in a block definition to store alphanumeric data. Attribute values can be predefined or specified when the block is inserted. Attribute data can be extracted from a drawing and inserted into external files. (ATTDEF)" Quote
ReMark Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Simplex or Romans would work. PM me. I have a idea re: changing text style. Quote
dbroada Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Ryder pointed out that you should change the text STYLE, not the font. If you change the font referenced in a style all text should change. Problems occur when people just change the font. The font often gets embeded and will not subsequently change. As ReMark says, romans & simplex are easy to read fonts. Quote
