wandyhee Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hi all, I would like to know which mouse is to most comfortable for you guys to do autocad works? I just bought myself Logitech trackman marble, feel great but there are no wheel on it to scroll zoom in and zoom out. Wish I can get trackman wheel but it's hard to find it here in my hometown. will do more window shopping and hope I can find it. Those logitech MX revolution look great but the price are too high for me. but if it's really worth in, I will invest for one. maybe you guys have some comment about it. Thanks. Quote
ReMark Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I've heard that the Logitech MX Revolution mouse is quite good. Quote
manhattan Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 currently using a logitech MX518 as i have huge hands and its the largest mouse i could find. All my previous ones left me aching as i end up doing a sort of pincer grip for hours on end. Quote
wandyhee Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 the bigger the better for me as well. I keep myself away from those small/mini size mice as it's hurt my palm. Quote
Tankman Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Currently using a Logitech MX518 as I have huge hands and its the largest mouse I could find. All my previous ones left me aching as I end up doing a sort of pincer grip for hours on end. I use the same Logitech MX along with the wireless keyboard. Rest my hand and let the mouse slide on it's pad. For travel with my Thinkpad™ laptop I carry a small Logitech wireless. Excellent choices. Quote
Ryder76 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I sure got a strange visual from reading the title to this thread. Glad I read the rest because I, too, was curious about what yal thought was a good mouse. Thanks for the post and answers. Quote
chulse Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I've heard that the Logitech MX Revolution mouse is quite good. I liked mine (MX revolution) untill I started having trouble with it not charging. My co-worker has one now with the same problems. I replaced mine with an MX 1100 - MUCH NICER - larger and easier on the hand... ... and a little cheaper too... Quote
wandyhee Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 thanks for the input, anyone else want to share, please do.. Quote
Absntmind Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Here's another vote for the MX518. Use it along with a QcK Steel cloth mouse pad (things huge). I think it's a good combo, and the MX518 has come down in price. I don't like cordless just because of reliability when working long hours, plus they weigh more. All comes down to personal preference... Quote
JeepMaster Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Another vote for MX518. I hate wireless as they are too heavy and needs to recharge. I like mine super light and fit my whole palm. Also, programed the Esc key to the thumb button. Sooooooooo much better to draft as I don't have to reach over for the Esc key on the keyboard. There are times I just use my left hand for head support and just draft with my right hand. Quote
stevsmith Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I use the Logitech LX-3 Wired Optical mouse. It's big, chunkey, lightweight and does everything i need. But I am thinking about investing in a 3dconnexion for Solidworks. Quote
