Does C# require external libraries?

Hello, I have Visual Studios and an thinking about learning more C# to do autocad programming, however, I know that C++ requires ObjectARX external libraries to gain access to the autocad functions, is this true with C#, or does it contain the necessary power to access the functions without anything besides the stock functionality within Visual Studios (2008).

You may want to check out theSwamp.org if you don't get a lot of info here, their site is dedicated mainly to programming, and there is a wealth of information on there. Check out this forum in particular (I suspect you will see some familiar names...)
