GARYD Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Autocad Mechanical 2006 I am trying to change the color of the separation lines in the "Parts List". The border is black and the inner lines are red. I can change the color on screen by changing to "By Block" or any other color, but they still print red. There is no way to change the color in "AM Standards" for lines, but you can change the color of the text. No one here has any ideas. Quote
GE13579 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Hi Gary, I've had a quick look and can't see any way of doing this. I don't use parts list but creating one and double clicking also brings up a dialogue box in which you can go to settings, but as per am:standards, only text modification can be achieved. For reference, if your query is specific to mechanical- there is a separate vertical product area where you'll be more likely to get a better answer. Welcome to the forum! Another Gary Quote
CADGuy79 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I see that this is an old thread but i thought I would share that there is a way to change the color in your parts list. If you select the parts list, right click (you may have to go to options and click the "Right click shortcuts in drawing area" box) and go to properties. The first property is color, change this to whatever color you want. Selecting "By Block" will turn it red again. Note that this is AutoCad 2002 so things may have changed a bit. Quote
