Hi there,

I'm totally new using AutoCAD and I've been trying to find some information about symbols but I can't.

Is there any website with a chart, or something like that, that would show me the most common and used ones and what they mean?

Thanks!!!

type DC at the command line to bring up the Design Center. click the DC Online tab to get a whole selection of symbols for different disciples. You can also find them free at http://www.cben.net

also, AuotCAD has templates of the commonly used symbols as well...

How can I see those templates?

I've been using the ADCENTER command. Is it the same thing?

typing DC is the same thing as typing ADCENTER. it accesses the same tool, which is the Design Center. And yes, there are premade blocks that you can access through this tool - installed locally as well as a "DC Online" catalog. :)
