jack0615 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Can I defun mouse right click (for example: ^c^c) in AutoCAD 2008? How should I do? Many thanks. Quote
ReMark Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I guess I asked for that. What make/model/brand of mouse do you have? And did you get any software with the mouse that you eventually loaded? Quote
jack0615 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 My mouse is compatible with Microsoft XP and dosen't load any third-party software in AutoCAD. Quote
ReMark Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 So you have a "generic" mouse. Then read the following. Customizing the mouse buttons via the CUI: http://www.cadalyst.com/cad/autocad/circles-and-lines-taking-cui-one-step-further-10546 Quote
jack0615 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Dear ReMark, Thanks for your CUI linking. Now I can assign command to Shift + button 2 or 3 successfully, but just Right Click without combination doesn't work. I tried to delete the Shortcut Menu and disable the right button but still can't assign command on it. Is there anything I missed? Thanks again. Quote
ReMark Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Check your Help files. Search using the word "mouse". There should be a reference to something aptly called Customize mouse buttons or Customizing button actions. Quote
StevJ Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Right-click is already being used by Autocad for other things. This pic from Autocad 2006: Steve Quote
