yrnomad Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 3 of the 4 or my workstation have been upgraded within the last month and have Acad 2010 on them. One of my users has started having a problem with paper sizes not being available when he goes to plot. We select the plotter and then paper sizes available, and it only lists three sizes. When you look at the Plotter when listed under "Printers and faxes" in windows, all the options are there. When I've imported my profile from my machine I still get the same pruned down list. Do I need to reinstall the plotter, or is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? Thanks Quote
rkent Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Edit the pc3 (File, plotter manager, pick one in question from list and dbl click), custom properties, more sizes, pick the check boxes you want. Quote
yrnomad Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 Cool, that did it. Anyway to lock him out of modifying that again? Thanks Quote
yrnomad Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 Arg! I was just messing with adding custom paper sizes. I defined a special 24x36 and a 30x36... everything looks good in the printer preferences. When I go into ACAD and try to plot with the 30x36 it sets the printing margins to 8.5x11. Any clues? Quote

My guess is that you messed with the options in properties and picked the Fit to this page, with it set at that size. Use No Scaling instead. Quote
