CrustyFur Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I've been banging my head against this problem for a while, solved it last week with a re-install, but got into trouble with it again half an hour ago. As I've resolved it without a re-install, I thought I'd let others know what to do. Type MENUBAR 1 and you should hopefully get 'File > Edit > View > Etc.' menus up from the AutoCAD menu (if you don’t get them up, type MENULOAD at the command prompt and see if you can locate the AutoCAD menu). Assuming you have got the menu bar menus, select Tools and then Workspaces then choose a workspace to work with. You may also like to type the WSCURRENT command and enter ‘2D Drafting & Annotation’ as the workspace name. Cheers, Chris Quote
Tharwat Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Open the CUI and check if the RIBBON palette is loaded or not. Tharwat Quote
CrustyFur Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 The AutoCAD menu file can be a little tricky to locate, but for AutoCAD 2011 on Windows Vista, try looking in: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2011\R18.1\ enu\Support. Quote
