Converting Edges to Splines

Hi

 

I'm trying to convert some edges of an Editable poly to a spline using the following method:

 

I Select the edges of the editable poly (in this case a wall made from AEC Extended) > Press the "Create Shape From Selection" button > Choose Linear.

 

Now when I try to select this new shape it doesn't appear???

 

Any help is always appreciated.

It sounds like you did it correctly.

Have you tried moving the wall out of the way to see if the shape is actually there? Try placing the wall on a different layer, and then Hide that layer.
