bagulhodoido Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi guys.. I have been through some problems. I did this drawing, and sent to the client. Than, like, almost half a year later he asks me to change a few things on that same drawing. Ok than, I had this area, determinated by a spline. Before I could hatch it on any scale I wanted to, and now, after I made a few changes on this area, I can't hatch it anymore on smaller scales, only on larger ones. The funny thing is that I barely changed the shape or the size of it. It almost looks the same, but I can't hatch it. Also, I tried drawing a rectangular shape in the same drawing, surprise, I could scale the hatch as small as I wanted. But if I draw the same rectangular shape INSIDE that splined area, I can't hatch it anymore. How is that possible? I'm a hurry trying to figure this out. Thanks for your concern. Quote
CADMASTER1128 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Have you made sure that all lines are connected at each end? 99% of Hatch errors are a result of incomplete or unenclosed objects. Quote
rkent Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Try typing this exactly as shown on the command line and then try again. (setenv "MaxHatch" "100000") Also, how far from 0,0 is the splined object that won't hatch? Quote
bagulhodoido Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 Well, I did check if it was closed on all ends, and the rectangular shape could not be opened since I used the rectangle command. I'm not in the office right now, so mostly I'll be able to check any of this tips only tomorrow. Hope it works. Quote
