Hatch Origin??

I have a problem with “Gravel Pattern” hatching, it seems that the "Hatch Origin" is at 0,0

I am doing my hatching many miles from 0,0 since that is where my project is; every time I hatch the pattern of "Gravel" comes out very scattered (almost like leaves) in this case I have to double click the hatch pattern on the screen to change the Hatch origin, by selecting "Click to set new origin" under "Hatch Edit" dialog box, this makes the pattern smooth and the way it supposed to be, but very tiring since I cant even match patterns in this case.

Is there a global way I can change "Hatch Origin" to be anywhere I wish it to be, just like AUTOCAD 2007 uses it?

Currently, I am using Civil/AUTOCAD 2009

Thanks

when you execute the hatch command, you can set an origin point. hatch works the same way in c3d as it does in vanilla acad.

as far as updating old ones, you can fix one, and then match properties will update the origin for hatch.
