JonathanP Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 How are you creating your tool palette? From the Design Center or just from a saved drawing containing all your blocks? Quote
B_money Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Not from design center from dwg library of standard details... Quote
JonathanP Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Did you check whether there is a file called "AcTpTools" in your toolpalettes file location in the folder "Registered Tools"? Quote
JonathanP Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 And also make sure your new palette is not being created in a read-only folder. Quote
B_money Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 yes that file is there, are you saying i should have my dwg blocks in that folder? i want everyone on the netwrok to be able to use the tool palette, like i said it works fine for the first TAB BUT ANY NEW TAB i create will not allow me to reanme the block... JonathanP Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I don't really understand the way you are doing it but I can tell you how I deal with it myself. Two important steps: 1.In Options-Files-Tool Palette File Location, add your network shared folder. 2.In the same folder, add the files: "AcTpTools" and " AcTpCatalog". Quote
