muck Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I am using a HP 1220c printer with AutoCAD 2010. I have installe the printer and it prints but there is no place on in the plot window to setup pin settings for various pin widths by color. Is there a way to do that? Thank you, Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Are you referring to pen settings? Aren't these normally handled in the ctb / stb file? There's got to be an Edit button for Plot Style right? Quote
muck Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 I did not find that Edit Button? Normally you do have one edit button on the right but I did not find it with the 1220c Ink Jet. I used the default windows XP driver to set things up. Maybe I need a different driver from AutoCAD? Thank you, Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 The default Windows driver might be good in a rush but you should download and install the HP driver. I'll have to check my version of 2010 tomorrow for the presence of an Edit Settings button for a plot style. Can't imagine why it wouldn't be. Quote
ReMark Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I'm back in the office today. Checked my version of AutoCAD 2010 Plot window and sure enough on the right hand side under the heading Plot style table (pen assignments) is the drop-down list for the plot styles and next to it is the Edit button. Now the Edit button is not operable until one selects a plot style (ex. - acad.ctb). Please take another look. It has to be there. Quote
