One way of doing this is with a LISP routine. There are a few available at the CAD Tips section of the cadalyst magazine website.

Just polyline the region and then use the list command select the pline and it will tell you the area. May have to press F2 button.

The OP wants the area to be displayed automatically.

Thanks for replying Shibuboss.

I did use "bo" command and mesuring tool in 2010.

I am not shure if that was a lisp file that I inserted or that is implemented in the program.

Is there any tutorial on using lisp editor? the best will be one example step by step.I had some trouble to activate the inserted file.

Thank you ReMark for pointing to lisp.

Thanks
