Hi

I'm converting square metres into square feet

Can anybody explain the discrepancy which I get using the following calculations:

Using a calculator and multiplying 23.60*10.7639=254.03

Using the Autocad table calculation 254.07

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks for you reply

Are you usung (cell value)*10.7639 ?

My example I'm using the expression =H4*10.7639

where H4=23.60H4*10.7639

I get 253.99 using autocad 2010

Using CAL

>> Expression: 23.60*10.7639

254.02804

Simple calculator I get 254.02804

I think the discrepancy may lie in the additional numbers beyond the 2 decimal places.. What do you think?

Just worked out why it's doing what it does! I'm using FIELD and it has a number of decimal points not just 23.60.

Thanks for your help it opened the door for me. hahah
