degree setting

Does anyone know how to set/customize degrees in an arc?

if you type ARC, you should be prompted as to the variables you wish to enter, so select an appropriate format and just enter the angle - or did you mean something different?

i tried that but when measured the angle it came out different from i put in. is there any way i could set the angle after i made the arc? im trying to make a fan-like shape.

how did you measure the angle afterwards?

 

besides the angle, what other variables do you already have numbers for? This will determine which arc method you choose when drawing

Having drawn the arc, you could use the command Lengthen, and the Option Total.

did you not draw that? are you just trying to replicate it?

im trying to replicate it. basically the fan-shape.

but still dont know how to create with the correct measurements and all.

do you have the option of RADIUS and CHORD in your range of ARC commands?

 

you're given both of those for each arc

 

 

if you want to do it the awkward way, draw a vertical line of the correct radius, then COPY and ROTATE it, then fill in the ARCs

 

If this is a school assignment, your tutor will be able to interrogate your method through your drawing :wink:
