How to modify the precision of the attribute of a block, which is a Field ?

Hi guys,

 

sorry if this issue has already been addressed, but i can't seem to find any information about it...

I have a series of blocks (named Area_block) that are linked to polylines and have a few attributes; one of these attributes is the area of the polyline (it is a field and updates automatically when the polyline changes shape).

For now, the precision is set to zero decimals for this field.

My question is: how can i make a rountine (VBA preferrabily, LISP otherwise), that would change this precision to 2 decimals for all of the similar blocks of my drawing, when necessary ?
