VisDak Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 hi to all, i have some queries regarding with hatches, is it possible to be continuity for joining the hatch, see attached for illustration, possible to be done on lsp's? many thanks, Quote
ReMark Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 When one hatch is "joined" to the other, assuming there is a program that will do it, will the entire hatch pattern take on the look of just one of the hatches used or were you still expecting to see two different patterns? Why do you want to join them? Quote
VisDak Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 Yes ReMark actually i have a revised drawing to be modified and lots of crossing lines layout to be deleted and the hatches are been affected and must be redo so that it comes to my mind how about to join the hatch so that it makes me easier to retain the hatches due to the drawing presentation (similar to 2 lines that have join command become 1 entity) and because it will take more time to redo the hatches that i will recreate a bounderies that affected:oops: Please If ever possible some idea how to be fasten this thing Many thanks Quote
ReMark Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 You answered my second question but not the first. Want to give it one more go? Quote
VisDak Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 Ya im expecting a same hatch pattern to join i think its difficult to join a 2 different hatch patterns, its better to join a 2 same pattern. If the 2 hatch pattern is different to be join, it will be the first selected as default pattern and the second select hatch will change and matches with first selected and it will be extend and join together as one entity hatch. On some hatches are only trimmed but it is one entity i need also to rejoint it / reconstruct the trimmed part of hatch I need a join hatch as one entity, if this is not possible its enough to me as extend one as look like join on hatch but not connected. Thanks ReMark Quote
ReMark Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 AutoCAD 2009 I see. Do you use Associative hatching? Quote
ReMark Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I've looked in a number of places but have not come across a LISP routine that will join two hatch patterns. Because the type and scale of two patterns can vary widely it seems like it would be a difficult routine to create and even more difficult to use. Quote
