derekh Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I was just wondering if anyone knew what i had to do adjust the factory autocad 2010 settings to make my renderings look like the one i have attached. Currently when I render them with the "realistic" setting i dont get the same shinyness and the netting on the unit doesnt show up as clear along with a few other details. Anyone help please Quote

Anyone help please You need to adjust the settings of your materials. In the Materials Editor, switch the "Type" to "Advanced" and play with the "shininess" and "reflection" settings to get the look you're after. As for the netting, is it modeled geometry or is it a texture/opacity map? I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up clearly unless it's too thin or maybe the netting color is too similar to the background color and it's just blending into it? It would be easier to give you pointers if you were to post one of your renders. Quote
