Adama1992 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hi everyone. New to AutoCAD 2010 and just had a couple of questions. Was wondering how (if possible/necessary) i'd go about changing the dimensions of my workspace, and also, what are sheet sets and how do i use them? thanks adam Quote
rkmcswain Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I don't understand "dimensions of a workspace". Sheet sets are used to organize sheets into "sets". You can also incorporate FIELDS into the sheets so that title block and other elements are edited in the sheet set (one place), rather than on every single sheet. Lastly, you can incorporate fields that refer to views on other sheets For example, if you have a note that says "See detail 3, Sheet 21" it can be dynamic so that if sheets are added, removed, moved, the note will update automatically so that the detail # and sheet # stay correct. Adama1992 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 Haha ok i must be confused. I've only ever used AutoCAD classic at school and we have only used basics. But I'd always had to change the size of the space i would be drawing in when i started. But thanks Quote

In other words, of all the components such as the Ribbon, palettes, toolbars, etc. -- what is displayed and where. Quote
