hairy_22 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I am having a problem with the linetype of the fraction bar that is created with stacked text. It seems to be rather thick and I can't seem to find any wat to adjust the properties of the bar. I would still like to be able to plot the rest of my linetypes as is and not have to turn off all linetypes for plotting. Quote
chulse Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 What are the lineweight settings for your text (pen table or in the dwg)? What font are you using (is it True Type of SHX)? Quote
hairy_22 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 Thank you for taking the time to try to help me. I can't seem to figure out what the lineweight settings are for the text. The problem only occurs with the stacked text (fractions). I am using the font Stylus BT which is a True Type font. Quote
chulse Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Check the lineweight it's mapped to in your pen tables. I have seen true type text act a bit wonky when on a color that prints fairly thick. Try a coloor that prints very thin (assuming you use a color dependent plot style table (ctb vs stb)). Or try a shx font. Quote
eldon Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Normally lineweight does not affect True Type fonts. But where you have a stacked fraction, the line is not part of the font, and so is affected by lineweight. Quote
hairy_22 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 I feel a bit ridiculous... When I selected the text and opened the properties manager, all of a sudden the option stood out like a sore thumb. I was able to change the lineweight. Thank you for the quick response though! Quote
