Enfiel3D Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Greetings! I'm using Autocad LT 2010. Is it possible to manually enter the coordinates which determine the position of the contents of the viewport? They are not editable in properties tab. I need to control the positions of the conents of the differents viewports on diffetent sheets. Quote
ReMark Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I don't think that is possible. I believe what you are seeing (Center X and Center Y) is the coordinates for the viewport itself and not the coordinates of what is being shown in the viewport. Check it out. Quote
Enfiel3D Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 It is the coordinates of what is shown in the viewport. They are shown when you double click the viewport to access the contents. Quote
ReMark Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 If that is the case then you should be able to override the value for Center X and Center Y without the viewport itself moving. Try it. Quote
Enfiel3D Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Tried that. Not allowed to edit the values. I can only move the contents of the viewport and watch coordinated follow. But not manually setting them, that would be extremely useful in my case. Quote
ReMark Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 That's odd. Of course I'm using plain AutoCAD 2010. I can edit those values, at will, whether the viewport is locked or not. And when I do it is the viewport itself that changes position and not what one sees in the viewport. I cannot explain why you are unable to edit the values. Quote
