Insert Title Block

hello,

 

i m having problem while inserting title block.

 

IN ATTACHMENT:

red line - outer edge of border

blue line - inner edge of border

green line - title block

 

problem is that when i insert the title block, it aligns with the red line (as shown in attachment), but i don't want that. i want my title block to be aligned with blue line. but i m not able to do that.

 

can anyone help me?

Im assuming the red and blue borders are both part of a border? On the blue rectangle select the bottom right corner point so its highlighted, then on your top tool bar towards the right hand side your looking for point with a dropdown option, change it to a connection point i think it is. Doing this from memory as im at home right now.

 

This should allow u to snap ur title block to the border point you changed. If any of that made any sense =/

Same technique will work for things like sketched symbols etc. Good to know for the future if you ever use them. Just remember you can have one insertion but there is no limit how many connection point grips you want to use.
