Hi all,

 

I am using Auto Cad L T in vista OS, whenver i am trying to plot/print a drawing i get a error message - "Application has stop working " and after that auto cad resumes its work but unable to print. I tried to add a new printer and also made another plotter(pc3) file ,but again i m not able to printer, when try to choose printer it doesn't show in the printer name menu, it only shows plotter pc3 file name. Kindly help me as its very urgent

Ya, couple of days before i was able to use the printer but from last two days this error is coming and i am not able to use it .

Sounds like you have to start over by completely uninstalling the printer and its drivers then reinstalling them. In the process make sure to shut down your computer after the uninstall, wait 20 seconds, then start it up again.

 

Also, create a Restore point prior to installing the drivers.

 

Please confirm. You are on a network? Yes or no?

Did not say exactly, but I think all versions of LT use only Windows compatible drivers. Not the standard Autocad ones. Sometimes have found that the SELECT printer option went back to the little deskjet, and now the software cannot figure out what to do.
