busseynova Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Hi, sorry if this has been covered before. I'm making some simple instructions of my company's product (deks) using screen captures then mosified in photoshop, only trouble is I'm getting degeneration of the curved solids (the top section) in the viewport which doesn't look too great, and this actually happened when I tried printing to PDF too. I've tried up-ing VIEWRES and FACETRES to no avail. Any suggestions. Also, I really should say hi - my name's Tom and I'm an (intermediate?) ACAD user, using it mainly for 3D rendering and 2D space planning. Looks like this forum will be more useful than the Autoesk one, so I thought I'd sign up. Any help much appreciated. Quote
shift1313 Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 it may just be my morning eyes and the white/white but it looks alright to me:) Since you are editing these in another program can you just use a render of the exploded view and save that image or take a printscreen of it? Quote
busseynova Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 I don't think it's what you meant, but you may have just cracked it. I think it was the fact that the component was in a block that was causing the problems. Just tried exploding into the component solids and it seems to be displaying as I need.Hoorah! Btw, it's that section at the top I was talking about, where it's a slight V, that's supposed to be a gradual curved section. Cheers. Quote
