xspacex Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I made a leader with a custom block arrow head. when i draw the leader left to right, the block arrow head look good, but when i draw it right to left, it doesn't. I would like the arrow head to flip, or match the orientation of the leader. please see the attached image, and you will notice the difference; basically, i would like to be able to draw a leader from right to left and have it look like the clouded leader in the attached image. I was wondering if there is a setting when making the block, or in the leader settings? Thank for all help Quote

xspacex Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 dynamic blocks can be used for leaders, but you will need to explode the leader once in drawing to be able to use the dynamic features. My last resort is a left and a right leader, but hoping first that there is a solution for my problem. Quote

I know that this is an old thread but prior to starting my own new one I figured I'd go along with this since its along the same lines. We had drawings from another company that had a custom leader that was basically an ellipse that would stretch around the two points selected by user and then rotate around in the way a normal leader does. so I cant find it through all the dwgs that we have and I was wondering if someone could help me create one. I've tried but it doesnt seem to work. its similar to the one in this thread without a break in the ellipse? Quote
