I had received drawing from someone with educational plot stamp. while working in my drawing I copied some blocks for that drawing which made my drawing now stamped with educational version. I tried to wblock out my drawing & when I opened that drawing it alos has the same stamp How to recover my drawing in original position without stamp. The only solution i see at the moment is to take my drawing from yesturday's backup & rework on it, but it will be 6 hrs of rework. can anyone please help to restore my current drawing without the stamp?
ReMark Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Dipali, I am suprised to hear of this development despite all the discussions about educational plot stamps posted here. We repeated warn people not to use content created in educational versions as it can "infect" their drawings. Let this be a lesson for you. Some companies have found out hundreds of drawings have been corrupted. For your sake I hope it is just the one. Good luck.
Strix Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 might I suggest that in future you don't accept ANY drawings from the educational version? The only way to stamp out the licence misuse that YOU'RE paying for is to freeze the perpetrators out of the industry
Cad64 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Contact the person who supplied you with these drawings and tell them they need to provide you with proper drawings created with a legal version of Autocad, not a student version. If they refuse to comply, contact your Autocad reseller, or your Autodesk rep, and report them. The educational version is for students, not working professionals. Contact Autodesk and report people who are using the student version for commercial purposes.
