Has anyone had their lines become so jagged that they're unusable after running Weed?

I've got a bunch of topo lines with about a 1000 vertices each on them - really detailed. I'm trying to reduce the number of points and my lines become so wildly jagged that they cross over each other (adjacent polylines) and unusable as topo.

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks, much appreciated.

There was a statement in the lisp file at the start about experiment with variables, sounds like you removed to many points by entering say to long a length between vertices.

I have seen the jagged line problem and have overcome it by making multiple passes. The first pass I take out 60% of the lines then the next I take another 60%. It seems you have to run the convertpoly again in between passes.
