This may be a really dumb question...but is there a way to place my own text styles on my tool palette? I believe text styles are drawing specific. I know I can create them on a template, but I would like to use my style when adding comments and such to someone else's drawing. Hope that made sense.

Just drag a piece of text with the textstyle you want to a toolpalette. You can specify the textstyle in Properties of the toolpalette command (rt-click on the command).

I house all 12 of our Text Styles in a block, and then have the entire block waiting on the Tool Palette to be imported. This way it throws in all 12 at once, then I delete the block as soon as I import. I also do this for Dim Styles, Linetypes, Layers, and a few more things among others. It's just a convenient way of importing the needed settings or tools you need. :)

Brilliant idea! I'll get to work on that block now.

... or you could have it import everything from your startup.
