reyems Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 This may be a really dumb question...but is there a way to place my own text styles on my tool palette? I believe text styles are drawing specific. I know I can create them on a template, but I would like to use my style when adding comments and such to someone else's drawing. Hope that made sense. lpseifert Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Just drag a piece of text with the textstyle you want to a toolpalette. You can specify the textstyle in Properties of the toolpalette command (rt-click on the command). Quote
tzframpton Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I house all 12 of our Text Styles in a block, and then have the entire block waiting on the Tool Palette to be imported. This way it throws in all 12 at once, then I delete the block as soon as I import. I also do this for Dim Styles, Linetypes, Layers, and a few more things among others. It's just a convenient way of importing the needed settings or tools you need. Quote
reyems Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Brilliant idea! I'll get to work on that block now. Quote
alanjt Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 ... or you could have it import everything from your startup. Quote
