Error in Printing-Out of memmory

Printer- Designjet 500 plus 24 (32 mb ram)

Dwg- 1.8 mb autocad 2008, XP Professional

i have one dwg of size 1.8 mb but it is not getting printed plotter showing the error "Out of memmory data was lost" Error 71:06

I have tried with other same type of dwgs of size more than this one and get printed with no errors.

I have purged both of these dwg before print.

above dwg contains one Topo-Survey map (block)

I think there is problem with that dwg only.

Anybody plz help me to solve this problem asap.

any reply will be appriciated.

The problem is not the drawing, it is you're printer. I.e. if you're printer has 64Mb built in memory and the print job you are sending is 80Mb (they are always far larger the print jobs and their spooling than the file itself) then it simply won't be able to spool it and print it.

There should be the facility within the Properties of the Printer (access through Printers and Faxes on Windows Control Panel).

Right click on the Printer, select Properties, navigate to the Advanced tab.

There should be an option to choose to "spool print documents" or "start printing immediately"

Try printing your drawing by changing this setting

Is it just this one drawing you are having a problem printing?

Have you run an AUDIT on the drawing?

I don't think the Audit has anything to do with it.

Neither do I but it would rule out internal errors in the drawing file as a possible culprit would it not?
