CAnnondale Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Hi Guys, I have created a animation/video for our project. Is it possible to add subtitles and/or captions to the animation/video. If so, how do I do that in AI 2010? Quote
MarkFlayler Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 There is not an option to do this in Inventor you would have to take it into Camtasia or Movie Maker or some video editing program. The only foreseeable work around is to create parts in Inventor made up of words and have them fade in and out at certain periods of time in the animation. Quote
CAnnondale Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Hi Mark, Thanks for the info. I will try what you have done by creating a text part. Quote
Denimoth Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Another option involves a third party software. Windows Movie Maker is included with Windows XP (on mine anyway). I don't know if this software is also found in Vista. You create your movie file in Inventor, then import it to Windows Movie Maker. You can add seperate sound clips if you like (like a recorded narrative, or music file), have different video effects added, and add text in the movie file. You can even add several different video clips into one file. It's not all that complicated as I have learned how to do it by playing around with the program in a couple of hours. Quote
CAnnondale Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 @Denimoth - Thanks for the info. I have already tried different software tools as what Mark have mentioned. Cheers... Quote
