ReMark Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 From your AutoCAD HELP files: "If you enter -attedit at the command prompt, the following ATTEDIT command prompts are displayed. Edit attributes one at a time? [Yes/No] : Enter y or press ENTER to edit attributes one at a time, or enter n to edit attributes globally." Does that help? Quote
GE13579 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Can you edit the colour from ATTEDIT? I thought that had to be done from EATTEDIT, although I may be wrong- attributes aren't my strong point! (Also BATTMAN might be of some interest?) Quote

dbroada Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 you can change their colour by redefining the block using BEDIT. This will change ALL instances of that block. Quote
ReMark Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 -ATTEDIT works for me in 2009. I can edit the attribute for Value, Position, Height, Angle, Style, Layer and Color. I use it because it provides for a "global" option. Use what works best for you. Quote
Nick-H- Posted October 22, 2009 Author Posted October 22, 2009 Why are attributes used, i never use them Quote
ReMark Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Our primary use of attributes is to dump equipment tag numbers into an Excel spreadsheet. Quote
