stevsmith Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Right. I have set up annotative Text, Dimensions and Mleaders. I have set up the scale list with all the scales i need to set the annotations at. Problem is, when i start a new dimension, text or mleader and then go into qproporties, i have to set the scale list for each. Surely this is wrong. I should be able to insert a dim, and then select the annotation scale and it should adjust automatically when i want it. Quote
SuperCAD Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Are you setting your annotative scale in the lower right corner before you place your dims and text? As long as you set that first, the dims and text should automatically conform to it. Quote
stevsmith Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 I was under the impression that if i set the scale list then the annotative items would automatically link and that i could change the annotation scale at any time? Do I have to set it off from the very beginning? Quote
NBC Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Steve, look into the system variable ANNOAUTOSCALE; it should solve your current issues. Quote
stevsmith Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Sorted! The auto scale icon was removed from my taskbar as Alan had shown. Thanks guys, I'm on a roll now, lol Quote
