CJB351 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 G'day people, I am studding 3-D CAD at the moment and I run in to a problem, I'm trying to Transfer materials from the tool palette from Windows XP from class PC to my home PC vista. The problem is the way my teacher told me was to go into the start menu and type in materials and on Windows XP it comes up with the appropriate area to install the materials, but when it comes to vista it doesn't, very confusing not that it takes much to confuse me LOL So I am wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction? Pretty please with sugar on top LOL would be much appreciated Chris Quote

Cad64 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Open Autocad and type OPTIONS at the command prompt. When the Options panel opens, click on the "Files" tab, scroll down to "Texture Maps Search Path" and then click on the little "+" symbol to expand the section. This is where your materials are stored. Quote
