kamig Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 hello dears, plese dear i need 3d drawing regarding pumps can any one help me Quote
shift1313 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Thats not really how this site works. There is an images/models forum further down the page that lists websites with images. Typically these are not free. Everyone here is happy to help you with advice on modeling the pump but we will need more details. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I might have a couple of 3D pumps hanging around but they are "generic" at best. What type of pump are we talking about? Have you tried drawing one yourself? How detailed does it have to be? If I find one I'll post a JPG of it. Quote
ReMark Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I found this custom creation lurking in the belly of the beast. Quote
kamig Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 dear i need for Fire Fighting Drawing the name of Pump is JOCKEY pump & DIESEL DRIVE HORIZONTAL pump if you have so please send drawing Quote
ReMark Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I know exactly what you're talking about but I'm afraid I do not have a 3D drawing of what you are looking for. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the pump to see if they have such a drawing? Quote
kamig Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 yes i try with those people they give me only 2d drawing. Quote
ReMark Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 yes i try with those people they give me only 2d drawing. Now it is up to you to take that 2D drawing and make a 3D drawing. Post your results when finished. Quote
kamig Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 ok dear can you tell me from where i can get the 3d Mechanical Part like Gate Valve Stranier Check Valve etc Quote
ReMark Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 You might try looking over at the CAD Block Exchange Network. They have a 3D section although a handful of people tend to post to the wrong category. I think they have one called Plumbing. You might also try PartSpec. I haven't used it in a while (ver 8.0) but as I recall it too had some 3D content (maybe even more now). I might have a 3D check valve hanging around in the dust bin. I'd have to check! LOL What size? Remember I'm in the U.S. so its Imperial and not Metric that I use. Quote
Tankman Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 ok dear can you tell me from where i can get the 3d Mechanical Part like Gate Valve, Strainer, Check Valve, etc. You might try Hayward for 2D drawings. http://www.haywardflowcontrol.com/pages/draw_AutoCad.html And, FYI, the Design Center is AutoCAD has symbols. Perhaps not for all, but a few anyway. I know I have 3D valves, fittings, etc., drawings. Like ReMark asked, "What size piping?" I've attached a 4" True Union check valve, 3D drawing, FYI. For corrosion resistance I work mostly with "plastic" piping. From time to time, temperature and/or pressure, I use flanged lined steep pipe and fittings. 4-Check-Valve.dwg Quote
Tankman Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Kamig: Attached *.dwg is a 4" gate valve, the valve is threaded. Use two threaded flanges for a flanged 4" gate valve. But, note, these are "plastic" valves, steel flanged valves are available. You can remove the 4" threaded flanges for use at a later date if so inclined. Drawings are rather large, approx 1000 kb each, if you want the *.dwg files, PM me with your email address. The *.dwg files are 3D saved in version 2000. Have fun with your project! Quote
