Hello everyone,

Earlier I used AutoCAD 2004 and I am familiar with it.

However, my present computer has AutoCAD 2009.But I like to work with 2004 environment.

Is there any option to switch from 2009 to 2004.

Do you mean to return to the classic look of 2004 (menu) versus using the Ribbon?

Did you migrate over your 2004 settings when you loaded 2009?

Look in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. See the button with what looks like a Gear on it? This is used for Workspace Switching. Click on it. One of the choices should be AutoCAD Classic. Click on it. You'll get the toolbars back. To get your drop-down menus type the word MENUBAR at the command line. It is probably set to the default of "0". Change this to "1" then press Enter. What you won't get is the Dashboard. Sorry, but AutoDesk deep-sixed it in favor of the Ribbon.

Dear ReMark

For the use of Image Rectifying software, I need to use *.bmp image of existing AutoCAD drawing.

When preparing *.bmp view, I use normal export command and followed following (General) procedure.

[file-export-Select file type as *.bmp--select full drawing--enter]

Unfortunately, the generated *.bmp file quality is not sufficient for my purpose.

If you can suggest me any method to prepare (export) high resolution *.bmp using existing AutoCAD drawing, it is great help for me.

Thank you

In the future Clark when you have a new question it is recommended you start a new thread rather than add the question to a previous thread. OK?

In answer to your question. I think BMP creation in AutoCAD is somewhat limited if you are relying upon the BMPOUT command. Here is what AutoDesk has to say about creating bitmaps:

Dear Remark,

Thanks a lot for you prompt reply and sorry for my mistake.

BMPOUT is normal procedure I already followed.

Second one is trial and error one. Hope I can produce good resolution image.

Thanks again

Clark
