customize the size of the open dialog box

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the size of the dialog box when you go to open a drawing file?

Our file system sometimes have very long names and we cannot see the whole file name when we go to open the file

we are using autocad land desktop 2005 (I know, old school)

Are you referring the the Land Desktop Project Browser Open? If so, I'm pretty sure it cannot be resized.
